Consult with our staff about our practical workshops which explore different aspects of traditional Maori life on the Mountain and Maori culture in general.
Drop in at the Centre before you visit Mangere Mountain. Centre staff will advise you how to make the most of your time. They will give you a free Landmarker Walk brochure. This brochure provides an easy-to-follow route around Mangere Mountain, guiding you to a succession of ‘landmarkers’ which illustrate aspects of the life of Te Wai-o-Hua on the mountain. (Make sure you have a good look around the Centre before you set off for the Mountain.)
